People with Bipolar, They're 'SPECIAL'
Every
living person must feel the mood swings, from feeling happy and sad,
from feelings of shame to being annoyed, upset, angry, upset and so
forth. It is common to every human being who has feelings. However, every normal thing must always have the other side. Normal categories of course have certain criteria, and those that do not meet the criteria must belong to the 'other' category. Therefore, we need to know ourselves and the people around well.
In the era of globalization as now, there are so many diseases related to one's psychology. Starting from mild to severe, attacking children until old age. This can not be denied considering the progress of the age and the demands of the increasingly heavy life of today. Almost
certainly, someone who can not solve the problem especially the burden
of the mind will lead to new problems as an example of psychiatric
illness. Bipolar is one of the most prevalent psychiatric disorders.
Bipolar is known as one of psychiatric disorders that conical to the mood. Bipolar comes from the word "bi" which means two and "polar" which means pole. Thus, bipolar is where two poles occur in a system. This
disease is a condition where extreme mood swings in the sufferer over a
period of time due to the brain function disorder in response to
environmental changes. Along with mood swings, it will also impact the amount of energy, activity, even sleep patterns.
Ordinary people sometimes think if mood instability is the same as bipolar, but in fact the two things are different. Mood instability is commonplace at young age. Inability to deal with a problem, dissatisfaction with something or unfulfilled desire sometimes causes the instability of mood.
The
obvious difference between mood instability and bipolar disorder lies
in the period of time and the specific behavior patterns that bipolar
sufferers have. There are three phases experienced by bipolar sufferers. First, the phase where they are very happy and sensitive (easily offended). Both phases of depression, where they feel hopeless and pessimistic about the problem. The three phases in which they live are normal like most people.
A
person with bipolar disorder mood changes rapidly and dramatically, at a
time when bipolar sufferers will feel very enthusiastic and happy but a
second later can be a person who is desperate, depressed and
pessimistic about a condition encountered. Such
changes are very difficult to control by the bipolar sufferers
themselves, because sometimes they themselves do not feel there is
something wrong with their actions.
Experts in medicine say that the biggest risk factor of bipolar disorder is heredity. However, not all mothers who suffer from bipolar will reduce the disease to their children because it takes other factors that support the decrease of the disease. In the present, other factors that contribute most bipolar sufferers are environmental factors. What is meant here is the burden of the mind or stress. Not being open to problems encountered later leads to prolonged stress being the cause of bipolar
Bipolar disease is a lifelong disease. However, this disease can be at least controlled by undergoing treatment by taking medication or simply by avoiding stress and learning how to manage time properly for mild bipolar patients.
The
stages of treatment of bipolar disease are, First, a bipolar patient
needs to be convinced that he can escape the shackles of the depression. Secondly,
they need to be taught how to be open to the people around them,
telling every problem that befell them so that they can be solved
together. Furthermore, once the beliefs and the
nature of the openness are awakened, they must slowly be taught how to
control the emotions, the way to dampen when the desire to surrender
comes.
Bipolar sufferers can live like normal people if they routinely perform treatment. Family support is also a powerful drug for bipolar patients as it will improve their mental state. Do not let them feel alone and lonely. Embrace them and create a supportive environment to create a better quality of life.
Why bipolar is 'special'? Because they are too sensitive and sensitive to problems. Moods that change drastically and extreme are their 'advantages'. They experience an inner turmoil that no normal person ever feels. They are around us, not just to be identified but they also need our support to be better.
